The Philosophy
The technique
ZF Zierer® products consist of highly shockresistant and break-proof polyester glassfibre. The raw material is dyed throughout. The final product’s surface is additionally covered with a protective coating. Experience of more than three decades make ZF Zierer® a specialist in glassfibre products. Due to its excellent durability the same material has been used in ship building and in the airplane industry for several years now.
Qualityassurances
The extremely high quality of the product is guaranteed
by complex quality assurance procedures - during
and after production. This is not only maintained by
an inspeciton of the manufacturer himself. ZF Zierer® elements may also be purchased in the fire classification
DIN 4102 BII (normal inflammability) and
DIN 4102 BI (heavy inflammability). To maintain
this fire classification the products are constantly verified by the Materialprüfungsamt NRW (material
research laboratory of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia) and the Institut für Bautechnik in Berlin
(institute for building technology), (mark of conformity
PA – III 2.2166). This is why ZF Zierer® may also be used to renovate flats or apartment blocks.

Architecture has been and always will be an expression of contemporary building design. Innovative manufacturing procedures have enabled industry to more frequently use glassfibre reinforced products as a building material, especially due to its advantageous characteristics in house building and industrial construction.

The Product
Energy Savings and Ecological Conservationb
One of the most important, contemporary product characteristics has to be the product’s ability to be recycled. As a consequence, ZF Zierer® products are recyclable. They do not contain any asbestos nor halogen or cadmium. Renovation work on a facade in accordance with current energy saving regulations will pay for itself over time. Dampness in wallings can be dried out by applying an exterior curtain-like facade by ZF Zierer®. Cracking can be covered over and a building receives a new facing. Full insulation can achieve heat energy savings of up to 50%. In addition, ZF Zierer® products are fully recycleable; they include no asbestos and are free of halogen and cadmium - and thus, ECOLOGICALLY CONSERVING.
Buildingconstruction Physicality
Rear-airing - the caption for healthy housing. The principle behind the ZF Zierer® facade is the rearaired effect of an exterior curtain-like facade. In terms of building construction physicality, this represents an optimum problem solution for facade renovations. Uneven wallings can be evened out. Additional insulation guarantees considerable heating cost savings. The ZF Zierer® facade is an optimum protection against heat-loss and damp in wallings exposed to the weather, and creates comfort for interior room and living space.
Processing
One of the outstanding innovative product advantages is the patented closure system. This closure system guarantees waterthightness under driving rain. In addition, the system offers an user-oriented installation of the facade. An easy and fast installation is possible throughout the year, because ZF Zierer® facades are highly shockresistant and break-proof even during times of frost. Erection and fitting is possible throughout the year, as the ZF Zierer® facades are of glassfibre and are therefore unbreakable and shockproof even under frosty weather conditions.
Compatibility
The high-grade facade products from ZF Zierer® can be combined together as required. There are no limits to varieties in architectural design.
